Advanced Frontline Manager Program

Qualification Overview:

This four module, flexible program enables experienced supervisors to enhance their professional development. Experienced supervisors and managers are often looking for professional development opportunities that allow them to build on their existing knowledge and skills.

This series of modules assumes the participants are experienced people managers, technicians or practitioners, and then enhances their ability with the introduction of the latest concepts and models of management and leadership.

The aim of the program is to both enhance the expertise and refresh the enthusiasm of participants to enable them to be more significant contributors to their organisation’s success and be more engaged with their work. Each module offers contemporary content that will stretch the thinking of participants and challenge their perception of their current role. The content is designed to offer practical tools that can be applied immediately on return to the workplace.

Participants can do the modules in any order, although the sequence listed is recommended.

Designed for:

Supervisors, team leaders and managers who have completed some professional development such as the Frontline Manager qualifications and are looking to further develop their knowledge and skills. In order to successfully complete the assessment requirements at this level, participants should have at least 5 years experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager.

Learning Outcomes:

As a result of attending this series of modules, participants should be able to:

· Refresh their knowledge and enthusiasm for supervision

· Understand the broader picture of their role in the wider context of the organisation

· Align their business unit plans with those of the whole organisation

· Plan and lead significant organisational change

· Understand the financial and knowledge management consequences of the work of their business unit to the whole organisation

· Embed a culture of continuous improvement

· Plan and implement changes to the operational elements of their work unit

· Make a more significant contribution to their organisations current and future success.

Requirements to Receive the Advanced Diploma of Management:

In order to achieve the Advanced Diploma of Management, participants must complete the four modules and the relevant assessment tasks for each unit of competency.

Assessment:

Each module has a knowledge based assessment to confirm the participants understanding of the important elements of the module content, plus an application task. The application task requires participants to demonstrate the application of the core elements of the module into their workplace. Full details of these assessment requirements will be provided at each module.

Enrolment:

Step 1: Complete Application Form
Download the Information Kit and complete the Application Form to register onto the qualification. Mail, fax or email signed Application Form to AIM.

Step 2: Enrol on each individual program in your qualification
You will need to enrol on each of the programs that form part of your qualification individually, as each will have a various dates for you to choose from.

a. Enrol using Enrolment Form
- Fill in the Enrolment Form included in the Information Kit and send or fax back to AIM.

- Select the first program below and choose your preferred date, click Book Now
- Add yourself or Add Attendee to the program
- Click on Add Program to continue adding all modules for your qualification
- Once all programs have been added you can continue to the Checkout.
