Application Process
The process is quite simple for those wishing to step ahead in their career, you simply fill out the application form and after your application has been received it will then be graded to determine what level of Membership you are entitled to start with. Accreditation
There are three categories of Membership that reflect the stages of our Members career status and their achievements:
- Professional Member (AIMM)
- Associate Fellow (AFAIM)
- Fellow (FAIM)
Based on your application, the Institute grading committee will assess your current position, experience and qualifications to determine which one of the following Memberships are appropriate for you. Members are also encouraged to apply for an upgrade to their Membership status as their career develops.

Membership is invoiced annually on the anniversary date of admission as a Member.
A 25% discount on the annual subscription fee may be available for Regional WA and International Members. (Contact the Membership team for details.)
Note: Once your application has been graded you will be sent a letter with your invoice for the application and membership fee
